2026 Spring TRAVEL

2026 Spring Travel League with NWISL (NorthWest Indiana Soccer League) is a great option for players who are interested and passionate for growing in the sport of Soccer. If your child is hesitant to participate in practice/games, we encourage you to wait and have them take advantage of our Fall IN-HOUSE program, as well as our open gyms that will be on Sunday afternoons in Jan/Feb (more open gym details to come via our FACEBOOK and sportsYou app)

Spring Travel practices will be held during the week in Rensselaer. Games will be on weekends (primarily on Sundays, combined with some Saturdays for potential weather makeup games) at away fields with the possibility of a few home games depending on our referee availability. We are in desperate need of building our referee pool. Practices will start late March/early April with the first game Sun, 4/12. The tournament will be Sat, 5/30 and Sun, 5/31. NO GAMES will be held on Easter Sunday (4/5) or Memorial weekend (5/23 & 5/24).

For logistics, all players that sign up after the maximum roster size is reached will be "waitlisted." If there are enough players for 2 teams in a given age group, then those waitlisted players will be placed on a team. For the u6 age group, there is no NWISL team. But, if you have a player that you believe can handle moving up to the u8 age group then please register them. The RRSC Board will make a final decision on the u6 players "playing up" once registration closes. RRSC's intent is to find a team for every waitlisted player that signs up, but it is not guaranteed.

Registration is $120 plus a $3 service charge that Sports Connect requires. Player jersey is included. For waitlisted players, payment will be required once a player is "activated" to a team.

Our registration prices have increased some because we are working with NEXT GEN SOCCER from Crown Point to help with our player development this Spring. We are VERY EXCITED to have NEXT GEN advance our players' skills and understanding of the game!
