Parks Dept. Breaks Ground At Brookside Park For Baseball Fields

This week, the Rensselaer Parks Dept. will be breaking ground at the North end of Brookside Park for the proposed new Baseball fields in that area of the Park. As a result, RRSC will be moving the current U8 and U10 Soccer fields from that area, to the already existing Baseball field in Left and Right field. The U4/U6 Soccer field will be moved to the area behind Gifford Shelter off of the Bunkum Rd/Lincoln St. Entrance. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. We also ask that all teams U10 and under not use the U12/U14 area for your practices, as the U12/U14 In-house and Travel teams will be using this area for practices. This is for the safety of the younger divisions. Thank you for bearing with us as the Parks Dept. goes through its growing pains. We will keep everyone posted as things progress.
